Experience

Volodymyr Yemelyanov is one of the founding partners of DGRAVITY LEGAL and currently serves as a Senior Partner. He began his practical legal career in 2012. His experience encompasses working as a corporate lawyer in the financial and banking sectors, serving as head of legal departments at banking institutions, a state-owned enterprise in the aviation industry, and various governmental ministries. Volodymyr has been practicing law as an attorney since 2016.

He represents and defends the interests of both legal entities and individuals in courts, law enforcement agencies, and government authorities in criminal proceedings related to economic and corruption offenses, as well as in banking and commercial disputes.

Volodymyr has acted as defense counsel in numerous criminal cases involving corruption and economic crimes concerning the leadership of several state enterprises and ministry institutions, as well as other category “A” government officials. These cases are being investigated by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and are currently under consideration by the High Anti-Corruption Court.

In addition to his legal practice, Volodymyr is engaged in academic and teaching activities. He holds a PhD in Public Administration and is an Associate Professor at the department of one of Ukraine’s leading law institutes. He has published numerous scientific articles in international and national peer-reviewed journals and has participated in international legal conferences.
